The Young People Curse 10 Year Reunion
Wednesday, January 9th, 2008Hey all,
Took me a bit to get to this… sorry about that.
Anyway, I can’t say I’ve ever been to a high school, uni, or whatever reunion of any type… and I imagine it wouldn’t be as exciting as this. In reality it’d probably involve just lots of awkward standing around, nodding your head to some random person you haven’t spoken to in forever (and can’t get away from). And you haven’t corresponded with this person for a reason, cause apparently the dude is WACK-O.
And what’s with this whole looking back on the past thing… reliving past glories or whatever. Bullploppy. I was a nerd then and am probably a bigger one now. So suck it.
Hope everyone had a good Newish Years. Hopefully have another comic come sometime soon… but again, no promises. I am a heart breaker.

Yay, you’re back. Love your work. Update when you have time.
Alternatively, OMG. WHAT IS THIS? NO PROMISED UPDATE. BURN BURN BURN.

I sit at my computer late at night and read out the text balloons in shrill and worrying voices. My wife and children shiver. I think this is a good thing. Am I a bad person?

The lined paper was a nice touch. Keep up the good work mate. No pressure, and I am NOT judging you. Hope you’re having a nice break

Your hands… look very young.
*Sighs* All my fantasies about you are now ruined because you have 12 yr old hands
*runs off crying*

I had no idea everyone would be obsessed with my hands.
I guess you would think by looking at them that I’ve never been involved in any manual labor… but that would be damn lie…
These here hands are damn tough

I’ll have you know that this man is none other than *the* Dave “Hands” McDougall who played for the Chicago Dirt Honkers from 1967-1988. He even released an album, “Hands Across the Universe,” which received some airplay on Video Hits with Dan Gallagher. Most fans of ringette will remember that “Hands” scored the winning goal in the ‘71 series when the Dirt Honkers faced the Thunder Bay Nanibijous in the World semi-finals, crushing the Nanny’s chance of entering the Olympics. Fantasize away, ladies.

Did “Hands” McDougall pull my post because he doesn’t want people to discover his true identity as THE GREATEST RINGETTE PLAYER TO ENTER THE RINK?
Consider this quote about Dave from Wayne Gretzky:
“Ringette? I think a few of the girls in my public school played that. Usually the ones who stood out by the front steps smoking.”
Case closed.
