Interview With A Young Person - Tavin The Poet
Tuesday, July 17th, 2007Hey all,
So today’s theme is bad teen poetry. I never really wrote much myself, cause I guess I realized how shitty it was and tore them up right away before any bullies could find out how sensitive I was. I’m much better at critiquing then creating anyways.
Here’s some celebrity poems to check out. Charlie Sheen apparently likes to make really awkward rhymes.
Also, if anyone has some real stinkers that they feel like sharing… please post them.

The darkness consumes me,
My soul torn from my chest,
I am lost, abandoned,
Once more afraid of the light,
These feelings of hopelessness, despair,
Entire worlds come to an end, lives shattered,
Every time I read this comic.
Just kidding I like it.
(For real)

Rip the flesh off my bones
Hope it will destroy the guilt
Engulfe my entire body
And shake it to pieces
Force my nails into my skin
Wish soon for crimson liquid.
Control it; handle it.
Smile and tell him I’m fine
Glance at the welts on my body
Focus on stopping the shaking
Clear your mind; keep breathing.
Now is not the time to cry
Tears will bring more pain
The salt will drench my wounds
and burn through bones
Push my emotions inside
He knows he hurt me
As sorry rings in my ears
Peel off my skin
Make the world disappear
